We welcome referrals from physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, school counselors, social workers, probation officers, case managers, courts, other mental health providers, hospitals, and any other professional invested in the wellbeing of individuals and families in our community.

Who We Accept Referrals For

• School-referred children and teens
• Adults, children, and adolescents seeking therapy, psychiatry, or substance use treatment
• Individuals requiring psychological evaluation or testing

• Clients transitioning from inpatient or higher levels of care
• Clients needing ARMHS, CTSS, or BHH services
• Court-referred individuals for anger management, substance use assessment, or counseling

Our Referral Process

Making a referral to Bright and Associates is straightforward. You can submit a referral by phone, fax, or through our secure online referral form. Our intake team will contact the client within one business day to schedule an appointment. We will send a release of information to the client and will communicate with referring providers, with client consent, regarding treatment status.

What to Include in a Referral

• Client name, date of birth, and contact information
• Insurance information (if available)
• Reason for referral and any relevant clinical background
• Your contact information for communication and coordination

Feedback and Communication

We understand that referring providers want to know their patients are being served well. With appropriate client consent, we are happy to provide intake confirmation, treatment updates, and discharge summaries. We believe strong partnerships between providers produce the best outcomes for the people we collectively serve.

Service Areas for Referrals

We accept referrals for clients throughout the Twin Cities metro, including communities in Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Dakota, Washington, Carver, and Scott counties. Telehealth services are available for clients across Minnesota who cannot access in-person care.
