We Believe Access to Mental Health Care Should Not Depend on Your Insurance Card

At Bright and Associates, LLC, we have worked hard to make our services accessible to as many people as possible. We accept a wide range of insurance plans, offer self-pay options, and will work with you to find a path to care that fits your financial situation.

Insurance Plans We Accept

We work with most major commercial insurance carriers and government programs. While our accepted plans may vary and are subject to change, we generally accept:

  • Aetna
  • First Health
  • Hennepin Health

We recommend calling our intake team to verify that your specific plan is accepted before scheduling your first appointment. Insurance coverage can vary significantly even within the same carrier, and we want to ensure you have accurate information before your first visit.

Self-Pay Options

If you do not have insurance or your plan does not cover mental health services, we offer self-pay rates. We are committed to working with clients to find a fee structure that allows them to access care. Please ask our intake team about current self-pay rates and any available sliding-scale options.

Understanding Your Benefits

Navigating insurance coverage for mental health can be confusing. Our intake and billing team can help you understand your benefits, including your deductible, copays or co-insurance, session limits, and what a typical mental health appointment will cost you out of pocket. We encourage you to ask questions — we would rather answer them before your first appointment than have any surprises afterward.

Payment Methods

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, health savings account (HSA), and flexible spending account (FSA). Payment is typically collected at the time of service.

Billing Questions

Our billing team is available to answer questions about your statements, explain charges, and help resolve any billing concerns. We are committed to transparent, accurate billing and will always work with you to address any issues that arise.
